My name is Phil Riehl and I live in Forest Grove, Oregon. After being the lead singer in a band, a live radio host, and playing music for multiple events including weddings, youth events and house parties, I decided turn my passion for music into a full time profession. "Vibes" is a term many people talk about these days. I define them as the feelings and energy being transferred between people. We never want bad vibes, only good vibes, so how do we ensure they're good? We act and speak with compassion and empathy, always seeking first to understand the other person. No commands, contempt or condescension, but courtesy, cooperation and consideration. Especially when drinking at a wedding. When I DJ events, I am required to provide these good vibes when I arrive, set up gear and spin tunes. Special events can be times of joy and happiness but un-communicated high expectations can also cause turbulent emotions (especially wedding days when alcohol is involved), but it's my responsibility to read the room, set the tone and perform with precision. Since I am constantly focused on providing the best service possible, I'm always aware of what's going on, I go with the flow and make adjustments as needed.
I will always play exactly what the bride and groom want to hear on their big day. Playlists are communicated well in advance to ensure the day is as perfect as possible!
All ages music is necessary for under 18 crowds and I am well versed in explicit-free music for high school and college age parties.
Need music to supplement a video production? I've got you covered! Music videos, promo videos, ads and more!
If you're looking a DJ that can create a perfect environment with a carefully crafted playlist while not being a creep to a group of ladies, I'm your guy.
What better way to celebrate a birthday than an absolute fire dance party that will metaphorically burn the house down?
Everyone at your event will always be treated with respect and dignity, and I'll honor every request possible to make your party, wedding or conference the most memorable.

The Harbinger VARI Live V2408 is an active, two-way 8″ powered speaker system that adapts easily to any live sound need—whether you’re a solo artist, a band, or running events with multiple zones like weddings with separate ceremony and reception areas.
Delivering 100W RMS (400W peak) via a Class-D amplifier, the V2408 features an 8″ LF driver (4 Ohm) and a 1″ HF driver (8 Ohm), offering a wide frequency response of 65Hz–20kHz and a max SPL of 118dB. Despite its power, it remains highly portable at just 15.5 lbs with compact dimensions (17.25″ H x 10.5″ W x 10.1″ D).
Key features include:
Built-in 3-channel mixer
Selectable voicing modes (Main, Monitor, Sub link)
Bluetooth playback
Mobile device charging port
Multiple input options: Dual combo XLR/¼” jacks (Mic/Guitar/Line), dual ¼” balanced jacks, and ⅛” AUX input
XLR balanced output for daisy-chaining
Durable polypropylene enclosure with 35mm pole mount
Whether you’re setting up in one area or covering multiple zones, the V2408 gives you reliable, full-range sound and flexible configuration in a sleek, easy-to-deploy package.
Massive groove attacks require a robust subwoofer that can produce low-end frequencies with enough power and headroom to rock the house without distortion, mud or flabby sound. The Harbinger VARI Live VS18—which, not surprisingly, seamlessly partners with Harbinger’s V2408, V2410, V3412 and V3415 speakers—can lower the boom, rock the bass and start a rumble on the dance floor with spectacular clarity and unbeatable impact.
The VS18 has a built-in Class-D amplifier that delivers 2,400 (peak) watts of clean power for a maximum SPL output of 134dB. That’s a lot of headroom, so the VS18 can deliver clean bass without audible distortion or other gig-terminating sonic gremlins. To help protect the speaker when the bass is really pumping, the VS18 has clip LEDs for each input to guard against raging signal levels, and front- and rear-mounted limiter LEDs that let you know when maximum volume has been attained.

The MotionStrip by Rockville is an amazing light because it can be used as a wash light, a multi beam moving head light, a stage light, or even a dance floor light! What makes this item unique is that it rotates 270 degrees like a moving head and has 8 LED’s that are each powered by 10 watts making them very bright. You can combine multiple MotionStrip Lights to create a cool light show. Some other great ideas on how to use these lights are as follows: Hang two of them on a truss, and have the beams rotating onto the dance floor with color changing and strobe effects. Another application would be to use the MotionStrip as a wash light to wash a wall for example.
The beams are super tight with 5-degree dispersion and they throw light over really long distances. Another application worth mentioning is for stage effects. One MotionStrip on each side of the stage along with fog or haze mixes the beams to produce an awesome light show along with strobe and color changing effects! The MotionStrip can be set up in all the commonly used modes such as sound activated, dmx, automatic, static, and master/slave mode. 16 channels of DMX allow you to control the color, moving rotation, strobe, and more.
Each LED is a 4 in 1 RGBW CREE LED giving you all the different combinations of colors you will need. This is a very durable light fixture and is made from metal so you don’t have to worry about taking it from gig to gig.
The JMAZ CRAZY BEAM 40 FUSION is a 60W RGBW LED Moving Head with a unique ring effect featuring 12 x 0.5W RGB SMD LEDs. It has an 8° beam angle and 4 built-in auto/sound programs, offering dynamic lighting effects. Compatible with DMX512 and RF remote control, it includes an RF remote, clamp bracket, A/C cable, and DMX cable for versatile and easy setup. Perfect for eye-catching lighting displays.

I live in Oregon and will happily travel a few hours from the Portland, OR area. Most people in this state know that it rains 9 months out of the year.
Water + electrical sound equipment = bad.
Additionally, barns, warehouses, sheds, and tents don’t provide much protection from the elements and the dust and dirt could damage my gear. For this reason, I would prefer to DJ indoor events, but if the weather is sunny with little chance of rain, I may consider outdoor events.
Putting down a deposit is a common and important part of many service agreements. It helps ensure that both you and the vendor are committed to the plans you’ve made together. For the vendor, it provides peace of mind and allows them to prepare for your event or project with confidence. For you, it secures their time and services for your big day or special occasion. Asking for half up front strikes a fair balance, showing mutual trust and accountability. Once the job is complete and you’re happy with the results, the remaining balance will be settled. It’s all about creating a smooth, worry-free experience for everyone involved!
